im getting error code 0x80070490 on PC game pass cant download or upload anything

Based on this error code, usually indicates that there is a problem with the Windows Update service or the Microsoft Store app. Let's work and check on this together.

Before we proceed, I will be asking your few questions to help us to understand our issue further:

1. Was the download option working before?
   
2. Is the issue presented to Xbox Game Pass PC?
   
3. I assume that the device is connected to a stable internet connection, right?
   

In the meantime, here are some steps that you can try to perform to help isolate this issue: (you can skip the steps you've taken)

• Check for Windows Updates: Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on Check for updates. If there are any updates available, install them and then try to download or upload games again.
  
  
  
• Reset the Microsoft Store app: Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box. Type "wsreset.exe" and press Enter. This will reset the Microsoft Store app and clear its cache. After the reset is complete, try to download or upload games again.
  
• Run the Windows Update troubleshooter: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot and click on Windows Update. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter and fix any issues that it finds.
  
• Power Cycle windows. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the device shuts down and then, turn it back on.
  

After running these commands, restart your computer and try to download or upload games again.

It was with opening games but I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to fix it and now cant download or install games, occasionally I would get an error code of 0x80070490, which I have tried googling and using the fixes for but got nowhere with them
