    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    Yes, it is possible to play the same game online together while gamesharing. Once you have set up game sharing properly, there are no restrictions about playing concurrently. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Your brother needs to set his account as “home Xbox” on your console. See guide here: How home Xbox and game sharing work | Xbox Support
    2. Once he has done that, all of his purchases will be available to anyone on your Xbox (his new Xbox home) and he will not have to be signed in on your Xbox.
    3. On his profile download the game you both would like to play.
    4. Multiplayer should be available to your account if you subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Core.
    5. Start gameplay using your account while your brother using his account on another Xbox console.

    Year 1 Pass for Ghost Recon Breakpoint not working.

    I have run into a similar issue before. I currently gameshare with my brother. We have been gamesharing for the past 3-4 years now. Something that we have noticed is that when a special edition of a game is purchase (Gold edition, etc.) many of the cosmetic
    bonuses are only given to the account that purchased the game. I would assume that this would work the same for Year Passes. I’m not entirely sure if that helps at all but I hope it does!
