I'm being double charged for a $50 Xbox Gift card

Same thing happened with me. I order 25+60+100 in giftcards all said completed but I was double charged for each one despite them saying it's all completed. I bought these on top of the Microsoft rewards added on to buy a deal for an Xbox one x. Funny thing
is I just got my Xbox one x today using those same gift card balance, and I still have the larger ones (60+100) as pending authorization. Despite them having deducted from my bank, despite me even receiving the item I purchased already I'm still being double
charged. So I don't know why In the world I am being double charged for $160. I understand that this might be a precautionary on their side. But that 160 dollars isn't something to scoff at and I really need it for this month and they have that deduction on
my account on hold. Never ordering from Microsoft again, better to just buy the gift cards off the stores.

check your microsoft account, in payments and billings appear your last purchases if a double payment is made there should appear and you can make your claim, some banks retain some balance for security measures, they return it to you after a while

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on a purchase. As they were made only a few hours ago it does take time for some to process. As your bank stated you will need to wait until they have processed completely. Support would
be your best option as they can see your purchases. We here on the forums are unable to that information. So best thing to do is wait until the charges say completed then take care of it at that time.

I just checked my account and the second charged has dropped. It took almost a full day for the correction to take effect. Therefore, if you're experiencing this particular issue just know your bank and Microsoft support cant do anything to help resolve
your issue until transactions are processed and chances are the second charge will simply drop anyway. Thanks for the advice to the people who responded. Stay safe.

Thanks for the advise. I already talked to them on the phone. They said they only see one transaction and there shouldn't be two processing and will have to wait until both transactions are finalized. There's no way for them to pull up my debit card to
see why i am being charged twice. My bank said a dispute will cover my over draft charge if i incure one. Thus, if anyone else runs into this issue just know you cant dispute the charge or find out why you're being double charged until the transactions are
processed. I'll provide an update as to the outcome of this situation as it evoles to inform any one interested or effected by this particular issue.
