I'M BACK! AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018!

Hi boys, girls, men, and women.

It's been 6 weeks since I last was on this forum. It's just gone after midnight here in NZ. Australia is only 2 hours behind NZT. And yes I'm staying up late cause if you're an Australian or New Zealand citizen, it's the summer holidays (and summer school
holidays until late January) and since we have our summer December to February.

I've made it a goal to not be a forumholic. Apparently we still have some peeps on here who are regulars, who are still at it. When you spend time away from this forum, you actually can do great stuff, not rush out the door in the morning, focus on other
things. The only other forum I participate on is the planet coaster site run by Frontier.

Last year Xbox has meant for me getting the world's most powerful console (the X) November and am enjoying the benefits of having it (faster UI response, faster boot ups and shutdowns, greater graphics fidelity).

This year for Xbox I look forward to when Minecraft Super Duper graphics comes out (why isn't it out yet? The X released November last year). Mind you most countries are still stuck in 2017 as of the time of this post. So yay me for living in NZ who is ahead
of everyone else XD. You could say I'm in your future. Also looking forward to when Jurassic World Evolution thingy game, by Frontier, releases around mid 2018. And also new years resolutions and stuff. But for tonight you can party stay up late or do none
of that. Also found out Microsoft is closing Groove and Music. I have a Windows 10 laptop (and desktop) and Groove is the default music player. They closed it down yesterday (sorry, closing it down 31/12/2017 (Australian and NZ go by day/month/year format),
and since Australia is still stuck in 2017.

We've actually had great weather the past week been doing a lot of fun things outdoors. It looks like some of the people on here could do with this.

The Last of Us for me. Now back to a night of Jack Danials and Fireworks at midnight. Fun times.

Another 10 & a half hours of 2017 left here in England.

 

I’ll be awake, but I’ll be gaming. Not into the whole count down to midnight thing.

I had 10 days off from work for Christmas holidays so I’m pretty sick of drinking and eating which I did almost every night to excess.

Kind of looking forward to going back to work on Tuesday.

Over the break I’ve completed Assassins Creed: Origins to 1000/1000 and also What Remains of Edith Finch 1000/1000. Both great games.

Tonight I’ll start Observer and also Cuphead.

 

Yeah,i'll be gaming as well.

After 15 years of working on every new years eve I just chill out at home now & stagger out into the street in a drunken mess around midnight,say happy new year to my neighbours & then stagger back into my nest for the rest
of the night lol.

Like Badger I`m also in the UK, normally also working but luckily for me it`s my long weekend off for my shift rota.

As a rather mature gamer I shall be relaxing with a beer type beverage or two and completely ignoring all the noisy fireworks come midnight.

Looking forward to RDR 2 in 2018
