I'm an aspiring writer and a long-time fan of the Halo universe.

And I'm currently developing a novel that I want to base the Halo universe on.

Who do I contact to offer me the rights to write a book using Microsoft's intellectual property?

no one has a publisher already has those rights

Anyone writing a book on a major franchise is hired by a major publisher that has those rights. It is very unlikely that they will hire anyone who is not proven in the field.

I'll definitely be getting this. Bought all of the Halo games, most of the novels and even some of the Mega Blocks vehicles...for.....um...the kids. Absolutely love the universe. But this may be the final port of call in the Halo universe for me. Hopefully
they're only rumours but I'm starting to worry about the direction MS are steering the Xbox brand.
