    I'm always getting an "installation stopped" notification when trying to download or update...


    I've been having this problem for a while now. Whenever I try to install any game from the Microsoft store the download starts but as soon as it reaches 0% it chooses to instantly cancel and say "installation stopped" However if I try download an App it
    works perfectly fine without any errors.

    I've looked up a lot of forums and posts on this problem and tried many solutions such as factory reset, changing DNS, clearing cache, restarting my xbox, reinstalling the game, checking for updates, changing accounts. However none of these have worked.
    Whenever the installation stops and I press A on it something pops up saying "check your internet connection. error 0x87e00005" I have reset my internet quite a lot of times in order to try fix it but I realized the internet wasn't the problem but the Xbox
    itself. I tried going offline mode and installing the game however the problem still managed to occur somehow.

    I have also tried searching the error code online to try find a solution however none of them worked and the outcome was still the same old "installation stopped"

    Am I doing something wrong ?

    You can also report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app on your console or from PC (even if not an Xbox Insider) so we can investigate it further:

    1. On your console, install the Xbox Insider Hubapp (if you don’t already have it).
    2. Hold down the Xboxbutton on the controller.
    3. On the power menu, select Report a problem.
    4. Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

    Contact a friend, ask him his xbox, and try with his xbox at your home with your account to download to be sure the problem come from your device. Except that (and repair), don't see.
