I'm a veteran Minecraft player now returning to the game, but cant access my account.

Hi there, I am currently speaking on this microsoft account which belongs to my mother. I am her son, returning to the game Minecraft after a few years of not playing. I purchased the game around its release in 2011 and played constantly up until late 2021 when I moved away for work and life got too busy as I got older. I'm returning now, but cant seem to access the game. My Minecraft account was made using this email at the time, as I was young and didnt have one. I purchased and played this game for a decade but now returnig I cant access the game, and it's asking me to purchase the game all over again. After some research I found there was some kind of migration to microsoft accounts that I never knew about. What on earth am I supposed to do? Am I now abandonded as a long term original player of the game who payed for it 14 years ago?

As of December 18, 2023, the post-migration process for Mojang accounts to Microsoft accounts for access to Minecraft has officially ended. I understand how important this account means to you.

I want to make sure that someone from Minecraft can take a look into your account and see if you have any recovery options. There is no recovery options

This was heavily advertised via billboards online ads tv commercials even social media etc for 2 years before the servers were shut down

I don't know how you could've missed it you'd have be to not looking where you are going which would be scary if you are a driver

You will just have to buy it again for whatever the cost is now

The servers are gone and data deleted

You can't expect them to keep data on old servers not meant to be in use 2 years after the fact

I cant access my worlds for minecraft for two weeks now. Tried syncing that doesnt work.

i have the same issue. the second players screen is very dark there is no hot bar and they cant turn or act normally. also this then transferred to their single player world.

so now my boy cant play in single player on his account he plays using my account. I tried to remove all traces of minecraft from the xbox and the installed it again but the issue carried on. I did delete my girls account and set up a new one this fixed
the issue until she joined my boy in co-op again and it done the same.

also I cant save the game to the hard drive for some reason.
