    I'm 99% Sure Somebody Deleted My Account- Don't Know What To Do


    I woke up today to try and log into my personal Microsoft account, and it said the account didn't exist, so I tried to create one with my email and it said it was already in use. I looked it up, and apparently that means that an account with that email was deleted, so I went to my email and saw where a phishing scam might have got me. Further looking lead me to an account recovery form, but it wouldn't let me submit the form because the account didn't exist. I bought Minecraft and other Xbox games on this account so it would be really nice to recover, somebody please help.

    It was not me who deleted it, but online makes it out as if deleted accounts are completely unrecoverable and I'm genuinely just so lost and annoyed about this.

    Hey, working with them I was able to get to a point where I could submit a form, but both forms failed. I was curious if you knew whether or not I could directly contact account recovery, as the virtual agent informed me that they were the only ones who could get into my account.

    If not, I was able to get to the password reset, but the hacker changed my recovery email. That said, they don't seem to have changed my password, I just can't put it in because "You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password." Do you know if this message is on a timer? As in, will I be able to come back tomorrow and sign into my account using the password? I know the password without a doubt.

    I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble resetting the password for your Microsoft account with two-step verification enabled.

    Besides that, it is important to clarify that the Microsoft account recovery form doesn't work with accounts with two-step verification enabled.

    Hey Panda!

    If you purchased all the content for Black Ops II on your account, the good news is that it's easy to find and download. Navigate to the Black Ops II tile in "My games and apps" and press the menu button. From there, scroll down to the game's "Ready to install" list
    and install any/all content there. However if the content was purchased on a different Xbox Live account, you will need to repurchase it as content cannot be transferred between accounts.
