If your son has a child account and it isn't 13 years of age then he will not be able to play that game online. It is not a restriction with XBL/MS but rather a restriction put in place by EA.

I'm not telling someone how to by-pass the age restriction so a 10-year old boy can play it.

If you had said he was 14 and was having issues with the game since he's technically over the required age for playing on EA servers (13), I would have told you.

But for a 10-year old boy? No way.

Is he 13 years old or older? EA has age restrictions on their games.

At the time I was laughing it off and then realized that there are many restrictions that come with this. I am a repeated member of Xbox Gamepass and do not wish to make another account with the money on this account. How can I switch my listed age to an adult specifically 22 years old? I am on PC and Xbox.

The age restriction and online pass requirements are put there by EA, not Microsoft. There's no way to change the age of an account once it has been created, so until he turns 13, he would not be able to play on his original account.
