That video is fake. Microsoft do not give out damaged consoles.

Not likely that it will cause any damage to the console it is just a software problem. I have it happen sometimes and have never had any console damage because of it.

The above poster is referancing Modding your console if you wish to repair and keep your console in working in factory conditions you have no worries of trying a repair yourself.

That being said it is most likely your power supply that is damaged I would barrow a friends and test it first.

test their power supply on your unit not yours on their's.

If the console is damaged it would most likely be in the power supply region, likely a diode.

The way you described the accident, sounds and all, I would guess that the internal componants of your console itself may have been damaged and/or knocked out of place.

I recommend operating your console from a laying down position and trying other games to see if there are any other errors.

Be careful though, as a damaged console runs the risk of possibly wrecking any discs you test with.

There is no way I would risk putting a game in my Xbox that had any kind of grout on it, you should really have these resurfaced to avoid damage to your console.
