    If you get the normal version for a game, do you miss out on DLC achievements?


    For example, Saints Row III. I want all of the achievements, but I dont want to pay 3x the price for the DLC achievements. Obviously, you cant get the DLC achievements with the normal version, but are they counted?

    I was just wondering .... If you do every mission on normal in single player do you get any kind of Achievement for this?

    I was two thirds of the way through on hard. stopped playing, went to play a bit later and got the message,"Corrupt game save data"!! Have to start from the beginningIf you get the normal version for a game, do you miss out on DLC achievements? :(

    Yes. If a game has achievements for DLC, they will be listed in your achievement list even if you don't have the DLC.

    You get one for beating the campaign and you get another for beating it on hard

    I'm Certain, that any Expansion DLC Achievements for a game, are under the main title & game achievements.. GTA 4 is a good example of that..

    GTAIV: Normal version/PC version.

    Fallout 3: Normal version/PC version.

    Batman AA: Normal version/JP version/PC version/GOTY version/GOTY PC version.

    Batman AC: Normal version/PC version.



    You can get 5000 gamerscore just by playing Batman Arkham Asylum.

    So, what I meant: Maybe the person he compared with played the PC version, which he didn't.
