Need to go on the website Microsoft account help n u will need to get ur links back if you never done this then you get a one time to get your links..

Depends one if you use it on multiple websites email and password combos and one of them get phished and you are listed as a known login and password even google will force you to change

This is why you don't have the same email and password on different sites.

Also if you clicked on change every 72 days or require password or someone who you gameshare with triws to put in your password too many times wrong can trigger a fraud lock requiring a change

Or worse you tried checking your email with an old password too many times and it locks you out

From what this error looks like, you’ve tried too many times with incorrect credentials (email and/or password) to sign in. The error says “Too many authentication attempts” so I’d suggest trying again later, as it seems like you’re temporarily
locked out.

There doesnt seem to be any outages, and I’m personally able to sign in on there.

If you’re still unable to sign in, reset your password. Just to confirm this isn’t a browser, device, cache or network/server issue.

Also, be careful not to get locked out of your account, for a longer period of time. Too many incorrect passwords can do this. I’m not sure how long for or the password attempt limit but you can reset account if this does happen.

I’d also suggest keeping your recovery info up to date, if you haven’t already. Your phone number, and email can be used to get back into account but only if it’s assoicated with your account.
