There's some other people on these forums that are having the same people (as you can see by reading these forums). There's currently nothing you can do except for wait it out.

As this beta is under NDA it's against the rules to talk about it in any public fashion. Any sort of issues you're having will need to wait until you get access to the beta forums. Until you get access to the beta forums you can read the beta FAQ located here.

The beta forums can be accessed here once you receive access.

I am having the same issue. I received my product key late on the 28th , was entered into the beta on the 25th, and I still don't have access to the forum....and I'd really like to because I have come across a few things I would like to make suggestions
about.

is anyone else having problems getting messages, invites, and joining friends since the update?

Hi,

As stated on the Microsoft Connect website, you do not get the beta update immediately. It's listed as 1-2 business days or "working days". Those are considered Monday through Friday (does not include Saturday/Sunday). So you should expect an update to
your console soon.
