If my Microsoft account got hacked can I still access my Xbox account of 10+ years somehow?

My Xbox account has been hacked to. I still have access to my account somehow but they changed the email linked the account and deleted my Microsoft account completely. I have no idea how they even got into it in the first place. I can’t get Xbox support or Microsoft support on a call at all because they don’t consider it an issue.

so i ended getting in contact with your support team, turns out the account got hacked, it was a microsoft account, im not sure when or how this happened as i can still access the microsoft account but i cant access the xbox profile attatched to it

Ok.... My account got hacked by a person who new nothing about me, who was in a party with me for less then 20 seconds, my email adress wasn't linked to any other sites, my password was "full strength" and my security questions where totally unrelated to
anything to do with me. Also when support "locked my account" they kid somehow regained access and was still able to use it. This was the "FIFA hack" where my account was used to buy dlc.

I certainly agree on the change account password often practice, but I wasn't aware of the proof until my account got hacked. I didn't use that account as my usual communication tool, so it's not broadcasted everywhere, and I don't use the same password
everywhere. Just answering your questions.

Actually, I never had a Mojang account, when I redeemed minecraft from a gift code, It was in my microsoft account. Now in February of this year, somehow that microsoft account got deleted and now I can't play Minecraft. I checked Xbox usernames and found that my xbox profile is still alive. and I also found that my minecraft account is still safe as I found it in namemc. Only I don't know how I will login
