    If my internet crashes, will Xbox on PC always force quit the game?


    Wow, my internet goes down for a minute and the game quits first thing, losing all of my recent progress (Hollow Knight). Probably won't do those lost 30 minutes over again. Tough enough to find time to game in my life these days and even less likely that I'll keep subscribing. Thanks for any help though

    Thanks a ton for the response. Can you let a supervisor know that we could use a warning or literally any indication that we need to do that? Pretty brutal given that I've never experienced this network connected gaming...ever

    To keep playing your game offline, then you need to turn on a setting either in the Microsoft Store or the Xbox app.

    On the Xbox app, select your gamerpic, then settings, then select general, then tick the box Offline permission enabled. Once you have done that, you should be able to play some games offline.

    On the Microsoft Store, select your gamerpic, then settings, then turn on the option for Offline permissions.

    Bear in mind, this setting can only be turned on for one PC, so if you have more than one, then decide which one to use for this setting.

    Pentiment cloud sync between xcloud & PC failing

    OK, I worked it out myself. I have always just quit the games from the Xcloud floating menu in the upper left hand corner, but it looks like that is now failing to force a sync.

    I loaded my game on Xcloud and realised I could quit from the Xbox menu by pressing the Xbox button (it has your friends/community/chat etc... and quitting from there has forced the sync and synced to my PC now. Just in case anyone else has this problem, you're welcome. :)

    I can't hear anything when I'm in an Xbox Party on PC

    I have the same issue, if I force quit the game bar and relaunch it then I invite someone who is a XBOX user it will work but if I add a PC user it does not work for them. Also, if I force quit the app and the xbox user invites me it does not work same
    if the PC user invites me. The issue seems to be with the PC app.
