If I’ve started a repair order a few days before my warranty ends will I still be able to...

Says my warranty has expired 12/21/2021 and since I pre-ordered this console I assumed the warranty would be expired what is the fee to send it off for repairs? And from what I’ve seen on the internet, I’ve seen where people have sent their consoles off for repairs only to get the back with no repairs actually done to them and the issues still happening?

if your Xbox is still under warranty you should start a repair order.

go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ and select your Xbox to see your warranty status and start the repair process.

if it is out of warranty you can still get it repaired but there is a fee for out of warranty repairs.

I had limited success with reboots etc, and in the end my console died entirely with E102 errors among others. I contacted microsoft and as the console was within warranty I was able to return it for repair whoch took 9 days. Have had no issues since then

You're only option then would be starting a repair order. However there will be a few most likely

Thank you for your reply! I recently started a return/repair with microsoft at the end of october, I still havent sent it off and when i checked this morning my warranty had expired on 11/11. Since i made the claim prior to my warranty expiration would they still repair it for free?
