^Is that just the standard one that comes with the console, because I'd second that opinion. I even love the standard 360 one, that's all I've ever used on the 360.

There isn't one set thing that constitutes a permanent ban.

But I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with the
Xbox Community Standardsto avoid further enforcement action in the future.

I know most retailers will have some sort of deals on the "standard" S consoles with a disc drive bringing them very close to the "standard" digital S pricing for Black Friday, I'd always recommend one with a disc drive over one without it!

Day One editions are completely gone online but I'd highly doubt you could get one at the store either. The best you could even get is just the standard edition.

The Xbox One is a region-free console. You can use an American Xbox accessory on an Australian console, and vice versa.

However, the only thing I'd worry about is if your accessory plugs into the wall for power, as there's different voltage standards (and plugs) between the two countries.
