    If I were to factory restart my old xbox would it delete my new xboxs series x data


    I have recently purchased a new xbox series x and my brother wants to play sea of thieves with me on our old xbox we created a new account but it wouldn't allow me to play with him on the new xbox so I was wondering if we factory restart the old xbox one will it delete all the data on the new xbox or will it work and I will be able to play with him and he will still have his data.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If you will reset the old console keeping games and apps it will delete local saved files along with all accounts logged in to the Xbox. If he uses his own account previously while connected to Xbox Live when playing Sea Of Thieves, his data will just re-sync.

    The question whether it will work or not will depend with the issue. May I ask what is the exact error or issue that you and your brother is experiencing whenever you’re trying to play the game?

    Also, in regards to your data on your new console, the changes will happen on just the old console and not on your new console.

    Controller is hypersensitive on Xbox Home Screen

    My Tv is a 60hz maximum and hdmi, I have a xbox series X only 2 months old brand new and the problem is only on this controller. I have fully factory restarted my Xbox, cleaned my controller in case there was debris and updated the controller but nothing has worked. Is this a setting that I may have enabled as it only does it on the Xbox Home Screen.

    Minecraft Freezing up on my account

    Same as above - My mincraft keeps freezing then eventually closes the game, I have restarted, uninstalled, check the Internet connection, deleted game data, Also just reset the whole console to factory settings. Thought it was my friends realms but happing on another world also. It is a new xbox X so shouldn’t be having any issues. Please help!!

    But if I use the old Xbox (hard drive full). Can I log in with my gamer tag on the old Xbox and delete the hard drive then install only the games I want to play offline.

    Will that affect the new series x Xbox ( as I only have the one gamer tag).

    If deleted old games from old Xbox, when I log in to new Xbox, will they have been deleted from that Xbox as I don’t want to loose them as I play online on the new Xbox.
