If I still have a warranty on my xbox does it apply on my controller?

Does this include controllers that came with the Xbox? or does the 3 month warranty only apply to controllers that were bought separately?

i brought a used xbox and the controller came with it, i dont think the warranty still applies sadly

Does the warranty apply to a controller that was fixed because I sent mine in that was covered by a warranty but they sent me another back that is not covered.
