if I start a new profile for my son - will he lose all his stuff?

If you create a new account it will be brand new without anything. He can access the games from the other account, but he would have to start his progress over.

we're getting the same message and my son is worried if we uninstall and then reinstall Fortnite, that he will lose skins and other stuff he paid for. Can you confirm that these will remain on his profile, please?

Im just trying to establish an account for my son who has been playing under my account, but he says thar will make him lose all of his stuff if he cant have the tag.

I set up my Xbox years ago using my Hotmail account. It’s the username I log into myxbox with or any other xbox stuff.

My son uses the XBOX and he has set himself up with a cool gaming profile, however, he is playing as me. I dont want him playing as me. I want to be the admin, and be able to see what he is doing online, who he is playign with
etc but because he is technically playing as me i cant really do that.

Can i set up a new profile just for him, and if i do will he lose all his friends and acheivements.?

Just make him a new account his buddy's will fallow him

if you make a new account yes he will have to start all achievements over but my SUGGESTION is to give him your account and let him rename it if you want him to keep all the achievemnets etc... progress made over the 5 years and you open a new account.

Great suggestion! I hadn't thought of that. Can I link my Xbox Live account to a new e-mail/login, and open another account with my e-mail after that?
