    If I reset my password, is cloud gaming out of the question until I get home


    Got a message from Microsoft today saying that 'unusal activity was detected on my account'. So, I immediately reset my password and to the best of my knowledge, I should be good. However, I'm not at home and cloud gaming no longer works.

    I get a message that says "Your account requires additional authentication on the console to sign in". Am I down until I get home?

    Cloud gaming has been working flawlessly until today...

    I have installed cloud gaming on my Samsung tv but now I only have cloud and cannot access my games I own or my consol! Help?

    Thanks so much, however my question is : I have no access now to my owned games, my Xbox is basically obsolete as I can only access cloud gaming! I cannot get back to my Xbox games or Home Screen and cloud gaming is the only function available. How do I get my Xbox home and games back??

    Don't remember password/can't reset password.

    I'm sorry but I think you're out of luck until you can remember the password or get it reset by answering the necessary security questions.

    After all, it wouldn't make much sense to secure your account with a password if there was a way to bypass that security without one.

    Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, after trying to reset my cookies and password, I still cannot log into the Xbox website.

    To answer your question, the problem doesn't just occur for fortnite or on cloud gaming, it's for all the pages on Xbox.com.
