I also had this problem. I tried many things like removing my son from the Xbox but it didn't resolve it. I just spent 3 hours on a live chat and finally got it solved. I had to remove my son from my family account (via a browser on my computer) and then
reinvite him. He didn't lose any game data but all of the content restrictions and screen time settings are reset to their defaults.

To be clear, Fresh Squeezed, you're on family plan then? Am I to assume that your son is on a secondary account? And just to doublecheck, you've removed any and call content restrictions from his account, correct?

The Family Organizer can configure it accordingly, so you don't need to remove the account.

Please, follow these steps:

Open the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device, and then go to Settings.

Select Content restrictions, and then under Apply age filters change the age limit that you want to apply to the member’s games, apps, and other content.

Any content that has a higher rating than the selected restriction needs an organizer’s approval.

this is in the MSN video app. Okay so i can have family settings turned off with an adult account and they are blocked yet on my 5 year old sons app with family settings on and i remove all restrictions i can watch them. How Odd????

There are no additional messages. The game starts to launch and then seems to crash and return to the home screen. There are restrictions on the child account but I don't see any that should impact this game. Generally if I do hit a restriction it asks me for permission to override it. It doesn't do that.

I don't believe I have the ability to allow the app in family settings until he loads it at least once.

I only have my account and my son's so, no, I haven't tried any additional accounts.
