    If i refund a game and my gameshare partner gets the game why can i not play it?


    i bought a game, refunded it and gifted it to my gameshare parter so we both can play. Now when i launch the game it demands i must purchase it to play it. how do i fix this problem?

    ive already tried: uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my console, checking if he actually has it so the gameshare works (he does.) and checking if i am gamesharing with him (i am.).

    Game sharing outside of your physical household is violation of TOS and can lead to account and console bans

    While I do miss the tactical feel and smell of opening a new game, the convenience of digital steals it for me. I do particularly miss the maps you got in the boxes. But I gameshare with my partner and we can then play the same game together. Plus there
    is no physical space issue either.

    Just as of recent - i'm getting the same error. I gameshare with a friend of mine and she's able to get into my account using her controller - why can't I use my controller to get into my account anymore? I can't even play any games!
