    If I purchase a Game Pass Ultimate subscription do I still have to purchase a XBOX Gold...


    Not sure if I understand this correctly... My XBOX Gold subscription ends in a few days. If I purchase a Game Pass Ultimate subscription do I still have to buy a GOLD subscription or is a GOLD subscription included in the cost of a Game Pass Ultimate subscription?

    Gold, Game Pass for consoles, and Game Pass for PC will all still be available as separate subscriptions. So if you do not renew the Ultimate Game Pass, you can still just purchase a gold subscription on its own. The conversion is only while you are subscribe
    to the Ultimate Game Pass.

    I previously purchased Game Pass Ultimate during the $1/month sale, and have since canceled it. Now I have a year's subscription to Xbox Live Gold. If I were to purchase a month of Game Pass Ultimate at the full $14.99 price, would my year of Live still
    convert over to a year of Ultimate?

    If you bought standard Game Pass and not Ultimate ,then it is working correctly. Gold is needed to play online. If you purchase Game Pass Ultimate, it includes a Gold subscription so you do not have to purchase it separately.

    Game pass ultimate includes gold and the game pass subscription so if you have the gold and purchase the ultimate subscription it will cancel the gold subscription and put it in with the ultimate. The Gold subscription will show as being cancelled in your

    Upgrading Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate

    Yes. As long as you don't have an active Ultimate subscription, any standard Gold or Game Pass you have will upgrade to Ultimate if you buy an Ultimate subscription.
    Thanks for your time and your answer. Do you have any advice on how I should proceed if I wanted to pre-purchase Xbox Live Gold and convert it to Game Pass Ultimate? My current PC Game Pass is set to expire on the 26th and I don't see a way to cancel it.
    Should I wait until then to purchase Live Gold or can I do that now?
