    I want to get a developer account so that i can enable dev mode on my xbox series S. For some reason u have to use a credit card as payment option.
    my question is if i enter my credit card credentials, which are very private of course, and pay for the developer account and after the payment remove my credit card from my payment methods. Will Microsoft delete the info of my credit card? if no why not? and For what purposes is it going to be used?

    Also a suggestion: create a separate developer account for xbox dev mode in which you can pay with paypal or with a normal bank IDEAL for example.

    Please note that using dev mode for any other purpose than developing software, is a violation of TOS and can lead to account and hardware bans.
