Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You may need to reach out to your bank for options available, such as crediting the money on a different card but the same bank.

Because once the refund has been approved and already stated as "refunded" on your order history (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders), it will now depend on your bank on when they will credit back the money.

A rep would give you the same answer. All codes state that Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. They would not be able to get you a replacement code.

I went up to the walmart again just now. I talked with different people this time. They tried to activate the gift card but couldn't. So I ended up getting a refund and a replacement gift card. Which is funny because the person I talked to yesterday
said no refund and you basically just lost your money. And on a side note that same rude employee was in the background watching the whole thing. 😁

Also just to add, when you purchase codes they do state that Microsoft will not replace codes if they are destroyed, lost, or stolen. So they are not obligated to exchange the card. The first rep did something that they generally do not do and you got lucky
with that one.
