If I get 10 hour free trial for ea fc will the timer decrease if I’m not on the game

you need to push the start button on the games I can't go to quick to make sure that it is no longer running in the background, otherwise it will run down your time or even when the system is off

I just need to know more information about this. Do you have an Xbox Game Pass, or did you subscribe to EA Play?

If yes, please try these steps:

1. Search for the “EA Play” App on the Xbox store and download it.
2. Open the EA Play App.
3. If you are not subscribed, do so now.
4. Navigate to “Game Trials” and find EA FC 24.
5. Click on “Free Trial” and start to download EA FC 24.
6. When opening EA FC 24, you’ll receive a notification informing you how long your trial remains.

Please give me an update after taking these steps.

If you can’t access the game trial, you might have an issue with your subscription or has no subscription at all. Next is to follow the steps below and access 10 - hour trial on Xbox Console and PC:

For Xbox Console:

1. On your console, go to the Store and search for the game with the trial.
   
2. Select the standard edition.
   
3. Confirm by selecting Show in Microsoft Store.
   
4. Scroll down to the “In this bundle” section.
   
5. Select either the Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S edition, based on the type of console you’re using.
   
6. Select the Free Trial with EA play option to begin your download.
   
7. Launch the game when download is complete to start playing the game during the trial period.
   

You’ll see an EA Play trial access screen with a timer showing how much time is remaining.
