    I’m having a problem where I’m connected to the WiFi, I’ve always used wired connection, but I get the “connect to the Xbox network” box on the screen. I’ve disconnect the Ethernet cable and connected wireless. And it said I was connected but it’s still telling me to connect to the Xbox network. So I’m thinking about resetting my console. Not factory resetting, the other option. What’s should I do

    Regarding your question, yes you will have to sign in to the accounts again on your console after doing a factory reset that keeps the games and apps.

    Doing this can sort out the connection issue you are experiencing as well if everything tests well in the network settings when you test the connection.

    It does remove all accounts from the console, so you will need to sign back in once the process is complete.

    Basically, it just doesn't erase the partition where your games/apps/DLC are stored, so you won't need to download it all again, but everything else is wiped out. Some of your settings are stored in the cloud, so when you sign into your account, it will ask if you want to restore those settings or just set things up manually.

    Thankyou for the response, I have other things connected to my WiFi and are having no issues with them so my WiFi is on and working, I even pulled out my Xbox one and it’s having the same issues, I’ve reset my Xbox series s, and It won’t even let me finish the setup stages because it just simply won’t connect.

    I see. Can you try setting up a mobile hotspot connection on your phone for now? Then connect your console there instead. Let me know if it connects there properly.
