    If I change the Microsoft account on my Xbox 360 profile, do I lose my games and content?


    As I mentioned in the title, I have owned this Xbox 360 for the better part of 11 years. Of course, being a child I had to use a guardian's email for the Xbox live profile which now has a plethora of games I would like to use my own Microsoft account to access. If I do this via the settings (Change Microsoft-Account,) will this delete the content or will it stay localized on the Xbox 360's profile?

    Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just don't want to lose the sentimental value and actual value of the content on this 360.

    yeah, but it is not letting move across any of my disc games to the cloud saved games. and it is not just the 360 i can play on the xbox one, it all of my 360 games as i do not want to lose any achievements, gamerscore and additional content: in other words
    i want everything on my 360 saved onto my xbox live profile/ xbox one profile and not lost/deleted when i do a factory reset in order to sell my 360.

    yes easier changing profile but then you do lose al your downloaded content as microsoft is kinda to tight *** to allow them accoss other accounts.

    Hi there,

    I like to add that this is only possible when the profile on the Xbox 360 is a Xbox account, if the profile is an offline profile (so not attached to an email (Microsoft Account/ Xbox Account) then removing the account will result in permanently losing that profile and access to any save games attached to it.
