if i buy a game that left gamepass and i rebuy it, will it save through the cloud on my pc?

The games on Game Pass are no different from the ones you buy, they just have a timer on them where they can expire when they leave Game Pass. All of your saves are safe and if you buy the game you can resume as you were

nope gamepass ultimate is not required for cloud saves on PC. you don't even need gamepass for cloud saves on PC as i have many games that save to the cloud without any subs and are usable on console.

but that game is a play anywhere game and the whole deal with that is you get to play your game on console and windows 10 pc and your save goes with you, regardless of sub.

i know hollow knights does not support cloud save via gamepass pc so the other 2 maybe the same. there are so many shortfalls of gamepass pc. i cant find a specific list of the games that support cloud saves either.

I have gamepass installed on my PC, but when i try to play it using cloud gaming on the same PC my save is not there, both appear to be running version 1.5.. any ideas?

Cloud gaming uses a xbox one to run the games, so it can't sync the saves
