    If I buy a game on my xbox am I able to play it on my pc as well?


    I have been wanting to preorder Forza Horizon 5 for a while, but dont know where to purchase it. I was thinking on buying it on steam, but would I still be able to play it on my xbox and pc while having the data saved onto my account?

    Steam does NOT support play anywhere

    You must buy from the ns store or xbox store to use it on xbox or pc

    Since steam is a completely different marketplace

    As long as a game supports Play Anywhere, you can buy it digitally for the Xbox and play it on both the Xbox and PC. Horizon 5 is a Play Anywhere title.

    Keyboard and Mouse compatible

    I would love to be able to play RTS games such as Age of Empires or Anno 1800 on Xbox. If those games were available to play on Xbox as well and not only on PC I would buy a mouse and keyboard for my Xbox.

    A lot of games got the play anywhere title.. but not all of them

    It's up to Publishers whether they become part of 'Play Anywhere'. Microsoft can't force them. MS has zero control with PC games.
