If i buy a game on my dads user can i also game it on my user?

yes you can play a game on a different profile, i have skyrim which is a downloaded game and it works on my dad's profile even when it was on my account which was downloaded on (it's like puting a disc and playing it on a different user)

It works!

I was trying to login with another PC user.

Now instead of changing the PC user i just logoff in xbox app and login with my dad account.

The game was there and it works!

Of course it will change. I don't care what parents buy their kids. What I'm interested in is the fact that I can buy these games now.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. I understand that you are unable to use the Xbox app on your primary account yet an alternate account is logging in with no trouble. I would be happy to try to assist you with this error. Before my suggested troubleshooting fixes, I would recommend viewing Fix problems signing in to the Xbox app and Switch between Microsoft accounts for gaming on your Windows device for more common fixes related to account errors.

If that does not work, please try the following;

Step 1: Log out from the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

Step 2: Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then select terminate followed by restore and reset

Step 3: You have mentioned already clearing the cache, but did you do so with "wsreset"? If this does not sound familiar, open the windows bar and type wsreset, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically
Step 4: Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots at the top right corner, select downloads and updates, get updates and run any available updates (this should be automatic on Windows 11 devices)

Step 5: Restart your PC, log into both the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app to see if this resolves the error

you can factory reset your console and keep your data but I suggest you uninstall the game first and reinstalling it to see if that fixes the issue.

I already tried, but it did not work. The site about my problem gave several alternatives and I have done all, only remaining that of deleting the user.
