without any information from his old email, unfortunately we cannot locate him. microsoft cannot track your old xbox.

that what they told me but im still able to play on livee?? could it be that they messed up my xbox info like serial number and stuff?

Go to the settings and
find the system info.

You should see the serial number that the Xbox reads from the motherboard.

If it matches the serial number on the sticker on the back of the console, the original motherboard should still be intact.

To find your device ID go to Settings > System > Console info. Your Console ID is second in the list shown and Xbox Live device ID is fourth.
