    [IDEA] Revive Project Gotham Racing as a modern Xbox racing franchise...


    Project Gotham Racing (PGR) is one of the most beloved and respected racing franchises in Xbox history. Many long-time Xbox fans still remember PGR 2, 3, and especially 4 as groundbreaking titles that combined stylish driving with skill-based challenges (Kudos system), real city tracks, and an unmatched atmosphere.

    Now that Forza dominates the racing space on Xbox, there's still room for a complementary racing experience that focuses more on arcade-style street racing, urban environments, and creative gameplay mechanics.

    Here’s the pitch:

    - Bring back PGR with modern graphics and physics.

    - Maintain the core “Kudos” system to reward skillful and stylish driving.

    - Use real-world cities and dynamic weather as in PGR 4.

    - Offer a deep garage, car customization, and competitive online modes.

    - Include a retro mode with classic PGR tracks and cars.

    This could be handled by Playground Games (a second racing team) or another Xbox-owned studio that specializes in racing or arcade games.

    There’s a massive nostalgic fanbase ready to support this. PGR is part of Xbox's legacy and deserves a comeback on next-gen.
