    Xbox 360 Multi Disc Changer

    Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Djf4qrwvQRw where he builds his own disc changer for an XBOX 360 out of a Sony carousel CD changer an an Arduino, transplanting the internal XBOX 360 Slim DVD drive into the carousel, so it certainly voids the warranty.

    Can we get a cd/game/movie disc changer?

    To add, this would be less wear and tear on the internal disc changer of the Xbox one. Simply replace the cd changer instead of the entire Xbox making it last longer.

    I was just considering an outdated technology that would have function for many people if implemented in the design of the xbox one. - The key phrase to consider is "outdated technology".

    CD changers were pretty popular back in the day, they were designed for a reason and that reason is still here as long as things use disks. - This begs the question, Why then,
    regardless of the reason they were designed, did they decline in popularity? One answer that's very easy to think of has already been mentioned. Reliability. The less moving parts there are in any piece of equipment, the less likely it will be to require maintenance
    and the less likely it will be to suffer from mechanical failure.

    A CD changer is little more than a bunch of moving parts... that's its sole purpose, to move things around. As many people here have pointed out, the X1 has been designed to be
    on and running for 10 years. TBH, if the X1 had come with a built in CD changer, I would have decided to go all digital. Seriously. I know, with 0 doubt that a CD changer wouldn't last the lifespan of the console without issues. I wouldn't want an X1 if it
    had a CD changer... as much as I'd actually be able to use it and even enjoy having it, my console gets used constantly. A CD changer would never last its lifetime.

    Leaving XB1 on all the time makes me nervous

    Long time ago I had a stereo that had CD changer, cassette player, and an AM/FM radio. All in ONE. Hehehe Back in 1994. Anyway my CD changer broke. So I still had warranty on it and it need to be fix. I took in and didn't get it back like till little less
    then a week. What I learned is it best if I had brought everything separate then all in one. Cause during the little time, I could have used my AM/FM radio while I was waiting for my CD changer to be fix. If you know what I'm getting at. :)
