I would like to remove my Xbox account, but I wanna keep my email

I would like to keep my mom's email (outlook) with all her files but I want to change my Xbox account do a different Microsoft email

So would there be a way to make my newer email the main email alias for my Xbox Microsoft account?

Because it sounds like if I removed the Newer one from my separate account and add it to the other Xbox account, it won't work?

account.live.com > sign in > will display the windows live id > click change. Should be able to morph into another windows live id (another email you already have or a hotmail.com/live.com).

You can only change it once every 30 days.

In order to change the email address of your Microsoft/Xbox account, you need to have access to it. If you do not have access to your account, you should try to recover it with the information in the following support post.

It is important that you send the most complete information you can, since unfortunately there is no alternative method of account recovery, if this is denied, you can send it again with more complete information.

General recommendations I can give you:

- Sending this form from an IP address that you have used before from the account you are trying to recover will help.

- Answer as many questions as you can.

- Make sure you send the exact information that was entered into the system when the account was created.

Please note the caveat there, which is related to the issue you're reporting: email addresses already set up for other accounts cannot be used.
