If I understand your concern correctly, you are trying to cancel the changes you've made on your Microsoft Account. Is that correct?

If you had changed security info on your Microsoft Account, your account will be on pending state for 30 days. This is done to protect and alert you in case the security info was removed by someone who had unauthorized access to your account. However, we can't expedite the 30-day process unless you cancel the request.

Hi there, when it sent a code to your email it would have been your second email that you've set up as a security proofs and not the one associated with your gamertag. Please follow this link and sign-in to view your security proofs and update them if necessary:

Ok the fact that you are being asked for a security code sent to that email means that you did in fact change your primary alias but did not remove the email. You actually "swapped" emails. That means that the hotmail is now acting as your secondary email(that is why the codes are being sent to that email).

In this case you would need to go here:

When asked for the code choose the " I don't have any of these." option.

You will have to wait a 30 day period. After that timespan, you’ll be notified that the wait is over and it’s time to enter new security info to change the associated email

Xbox support took me to the same link to change my security information. I know I have to wait 30 days but in the meantime the hacker still has access to my account and can cancel my request for security information. Again, I am completely unable to change any security information without entering a code, which is being sent to the hacker’s email.
