    I would like my old account back


    It started a while back when I factory reset my console so it properly boot up. Afterwards I tried to log in to my account, The Ravens Ire and it wanted security code sent in text message, this I didn't have phone service at the time. So I tried alternative ways to verify but it eventually flagged and locked my account, I was sent an email saying this. When I got my phone reactivated I tried to sign in with texted verification code, but instead of signing to The Ravens Ire it created a new account, now my email is linked to the new account, and I no way of signing in to The Ravens Ire. The Ravens Ire account is still active when I search for it on Xbox Live (I even friended The Ravens Ire). Please help, I just want the account I have had since middle school back

    Hello Lennon, by your description it seems that your account was hacked, because by definition of the Microsoft system you would not be able to create an account with the same email.

    You mention that he created another email when trying to log in, was the email he used the same as his old account or did you create a new email?

    That will only be possible if someone else doesn't own that Gamertag.

    If someone does, then nothing can be done about. If the gamertag is inactive you'll have to wait for the general reset like everyone else.

    As of last year if a gamertag does not sign in for 5 years it is then made available.

    That's the same for everyone,no matter how long you've been with xbox.

    your chances of getting your account back is slim. the only way you could get back is if you call xbox support and file unauthzio access claim.
