the Mage's Guild would probably be destroyed if you didn't join it and creatures from Oblivion would sack all the cities. Unless you mod it, Oblivion doesn't allow for that kind of dynamic experience.

She'll do it whether you accompany her or not.



It would appear "Oblivion" is more dynamic than you gave it credit for.



Great game limited only by the imaginations of the people who played it.

Of course it was driven by your character's motivations.



"Oblivion"'s story wasn't the Main Quest, the Guild Quests or the Arena.



"Oblivion"'s story is the experience of your character and that's what makes it one of the best RPG's released to date.



Your character's actions were the actions they were motivated to complete.



Whether you were playing the role of a teenager keen to unlock every achievement in the game and therefore happy to barge through the entire adventure with a single character or whether you immersed yourself in the setting and lore, creating a backstory
for your character and playing out their unique adventure.
