I went into the Microsoft store to update B4B and it started to re-download the whole game...

Mine was pre-ordered and fully installed to 100 percent.

Then, when I went to launch the game this morning it started "updating" from 0-100 again, currently on 27% after 3 hours!!!!

Someone *** up, pre-orders normally download a small file and then they just go, this thing is re-downloading the whole game.

I do have the latest windows update, I immediately went to download it when this all started. I have Windows 11. And it will not allow to update anything in the Microsoft store, not even the microsoft store can be updated itself.

Seems like they had a fix for it back in January but then something else broke it. I was able to install Fh5 no problem but then went to install B4B and that's when things got wonky. Maybe it's B4B lol.

On the game page in the Xbox app, click on the 3 dots on the right side and then on ''manage game'' and uncheck the ''High-Res Textures'' box, save and try to start the game again.

Awesome, doing this allowed the game to start without redirecting me to the Store. Thanks!!

Furthermore, going back and re-checking that box will re-download the high-res textures, and the game still starts after doing that. So, whatever update went out between last night and this morning didn't update that package.

EDIT: Doing this re-download does appear to reset your graphics settings to Low, so if stuff looks... not as good after doing this, check your settings.

Hi, I tried something that worked for me :

I went to microsoft store, downloaded xbox application.

after downloading it, in microsoft store application (not xbox), I went to library (bottom left) and update my games from there (I had FH5 and humankind not willing to update)
