I wouldn't recommend a laptop if you plan on doing any gaming. THey are not upgradeable, they do not handle heat well, are virtually un-upgradeable and very expensive to fix.

It looks like it only has the onboard video, no way you're playing any modern games

It's a $300 laptop, for modern games the GPU alone starts at $600 if you want a midrange card. PC gaming hardware is sold at a profit, Xbox is sold well under the cost of manufacturing it.
