I was wondering if I can get my gamer tag changed because Xbox support sent me here

when you create your account you are given a default name. You are able to change that once at no charge. Any other subesquent name changes have to be paid for (unless you are forced to change your name due to an enforcement action because an offensive
name was used).

As stated in your other thread, you can change it at any time, but you will have to pay if you want to change it. There is no way to get a free change.

Your gamer tag was deemed inappropriate or offensive and they changed it because it violated the code of conduct.

You can argue to your blue in the face but you wont get the gamer tag name back.

If you are wondering why you didn't get a free name change you can blame the people that abused the system by just changing the gamertag to another offensive or inappropriate gamer tag.

So I suggest you let it go and either use the gamer tag you were given or buy some points and change it to an appropriate gamer tag that will not violate the code of conduct.

okay so i have an issue, i think i got a force gamer tag change, but my problem is i no longer have the email that i used with this gamer tag. the email i currently use is linked to my other gamertag and i don't use that gamer tag anymore. how can i change
my current gamertag to my current email without it linking my current email to a older gamer tag? ALSO if you did ban me and give me some really weak , wack gamer tag, how come you are trying to charge me to change my gamer tag? because if that is the case,
this xbox one will be sold for a ps4.
