I was trying to download minecraft from the microsoft store but its just saying pending can...

when i try to install it from the Microsoft store, no downloads work. it just says that its "pending"

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems. May I ask which Windows 10 build are you running - 2004, 20H2, 21H1 or 21H2?

If you’re not running the latest Windows version then please check for any updates & try downloading the game again.

If you also have problems updating Windows?

Have you tried resetting the update components?

Open cmd prompt/powershell with admin & enter:

Net Stop bits

Net Stop wuauserv

Net Stop appidsvc

Net Stop cryptsvc

Ren %Systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore DataStore.bak

Ren %Systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\Download Download.bak

Ren %Systemroot%\System32\catroot2 catroot2.bak

Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat"

Net Start bits

Net Start wuauserv

Net Start appidsvc

Net Start cryptsvc

Restart the PC & try updating again.

And/or:

Search for services.msc & find Windows Update & ensure it is set to Automatic.

Just so you know, its not an xbox issue, its a generic Microsoft Store issue but i couldn't chose that as a category for this. Im not using game pass or xbox store or anything, im just trying to download basic applications from the basic microsoft store and its stuck in the endless pending loop and all the online advice ive followed has achieved nothing to solve it.

I am using Windows 10.

When I open the store there's a circling download button that says "Pending" but it never installs anything it just continues to say Pending. I let it rest overnight but the circling motion was still there.

I downloaded the Minecraft Launcher from the official Minecraft website here.

I was originally using Minecraft.net before switching to the Microsoft store because it continued to redirect me there.

Whenever I try to download from Minecraft from the Microsoft Store the install button doesn't work. I just keep on clicking it. By the way, this is Java. Please help me fix this.
