I was sent a broken elite controller for my replacement

So I sent back my series 2 elite controller because it had stick drift. I got my replacement elite controller just this Sunday and it came broken. 3 out of the 4 back paddles work however the bottom left (if its in your hands) is practically unresponsive. When I shined a flashlight on where you can attach the paddles I could see the green circuit board. The other three (that work) seemed to be covered by black plastic or something?? Anyways I just want a replacement however my warranty is up. But this shouldn’t effect my warranty because it was sent to me broken and it has only been 2 days!! I’ve tired Xbox support but have gotten nowhere. Any tips suggestions or links would be appreciated!

i payed £80 for a replacement elite controller which was sent to me with a broken left bumper, so i sent it off for repair all to have to sent back with a broken right thumb stick! now it just says repair complete and says its out of warrenty with no way to sent it for repair again and when i try to contact surport it says unable to call back! so im stuck with a controller with bad stick drift i payed £80 for. they really need to sort out there customer sevice.

Sent controller in for replacement.

Microsoft keeps sending me broken controllers.

Latest controller is broken.

Microsoft won't replace because it's past the warranty.

Even though I never received a working controller.

Microsoft is not honoring warranty.

Sent broken controllers instead of working ones until warranty expired.

Hope that's short enough, lol. I should have made a summary of the issue in the beginning. My bad. Was frustrated and wanted to detail everything so people know exactly where I'm coming from.

I sent in my day one edition controller to be fixed the outside shell wasnt *** in properly. The "repaired" one I got back was also faulty. The joysticks click when moved. Isn't that something that should be checked before shipping?? Do I have to wait another
2 months to get a broken controller sent to replace my broken controller??? Frustrated...

Tony,

The Elite Controllers are pretty easy to work on. I just replaced a broken bumper on my Elite Series 1. It took about 20 minutes. You can find replacement parts on Amazon easily. Many companies have their own websites if you don't want to buy from Amazon.
There are plenty of videos on Youtube how to take apart and replace what is broken. I would recommend checking out the videos first to see if you want to give it try.
