I was playing rdr2 and wanted to load up a different save I loaded it up fine and then it...

One other question. My girlfriend is also playing RDR2 (under my account) but has saved her games in different slots in the Save menu. Will all of the saved games be there or will it only be the last one played? I believe there are 10 Save slots in RDR2
and I would like to move all of them.

Also I imagine it will load a LOT quicker on the new machine?

No, that's not what I meant. I was merely mentioning when you powered off your console, then going back to playing, loading screen hangs for a long time w/o actually loading your initial game save, dashboard, fire game back up, reload a different save, once
that loads w/o hangging, then attempt to load your actual game save you want to play. (Only way around that issue where loading screen hangs w/o actually loading.)

If you go to the Sanctuary and go up to the part of the wall that has game options...

click load...It'll take you to a room with five pedestals which means you can have

five separate saves aka different characters. Just make sure you make saves to the character

you're using before loading up a different one.

When you go to load up the game...it'll load whichever file you played last with...but all you need to do is

again go to load and pick which file you want to resume with from there.

When it asked to overide your old save, you should have said no. Once a save has been saved over, there is no way to get it back.

Just load a save before your final save, once the works, pause game, then load your initial game save you want to play, it's basically how I get around that problem.









I encountered the same issue after applying title update #5, had a level 25 character which I deleted, started fresh, same issue cropped up after a new character build, so I initially thought "hmmm wonder if I load up a different save (then once that worked) paused
game, loaded my initial game save." Figured this out a day after the update release, just never got around to the forums to post on it.
