Go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments and select Services & subscriptions. You’ll see if “Xbox Game Pass for Console” (or Game Pass Standard) is active and when it expires. Because Game Pass Standard is no longer sold separately, you’ll likely only see “Game Pass Ultimate.”

Watch for offers in the Xbox Store

Near your membership end date, open the Xbox Store on your console or PC and go to Subscriptions > Xbox Game Pass. If you’re eligible for the $1 trial when your membership fully ends, it should appear under Deals or Promotions.

Wait for your membership to lapse

Once your active membership ends, it often takes around six months of no Game Pass membership before the $1 trial becomes available again.

Try renewing or upgrading after a short delay

If you attempt to renew or upgrade right after your membership ends and see a billing error, it may be a temporary issue. Wait an hour or two and try again.

In short, because you currently have an active Game Pass, the $1 offer won’t show up until your membership expires and enough time has passed. When you’re close to that point, keep an eye on the Store’s Game Pass page or reach out to support for confirmation.

With the Offer £1 offer it converts all of your Gold to Ultimate. In the FAQ is stats that you can convert up to 36 Months to Xbox Live Gold Ultimate

When you make a account on a brand new xbox, it offers you live for 1 month and this can be done i think 3 times. Afterwards when you start making new accounts it will not have 1 month of free xbox live.

I have a month of xbox live gold with the $1 offer, that means -$5 when purchasing family pack gold, MAYBE just because that month cost $1, but is a nonsense.....

You must use an approved payment method to purchase the subscription.
