    Hello Mr, this crash may be some lack of update of the Microsoft Store App.

    Try first to check if you have all the optional updates for the 22H2 version on your PC.

    See which version of Windows 10 you have

    Updates are often seen as optional.

    Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

    After that if you are unable to cancel the download try the procedures below.

    Solution 1. Run Windows Store Apps troubleshooter

    Type Troubleshoot in Windows search and press Enter

    Click Additional troubleshooters if you can't see them listed

    Scroll down to find Windows Store Apps

    Click and select Run the troubleshooter

    Solution 2. Reset Windows Store cache

    In Windows search, type wsreset and press Enter

    Wait till a black window shows up – do not close it

    Solution 3. Reset Windows Store

    Right-click on Start and select Apps & Features

    Scroll down to find Microsoft Store and click Advanced options

    Scroll down again and click Terminate and Reset.

    I managed to do a workaround which worked for me. I cancelled the installation via the microsoft store app and tried to install it with the app afterwards. Both games work now!

    Sorry to hear it. As this is the beta app there are still issues to be fixed. If you are unable to download the game from the app then cancel it and open the Store App from the start menu and find the game there to install
    When I canceled and used store app to download the game, I started and stuck at 24% again
