It’s a permanent suspension and I haven’t done anything in violation severe enough to be banned that’s for sure. Comms ban sure. Some people have excess of 5 comms bans with no permanent suspension. So it’s not abusing the system when a group of gamers come together to report one person to get them removed from a game because I wasn’t “going with the flow” of what they wanted? The system is dumb. If they look at all your messages why don’t they look at who messaged first and who violated the terms FIRST in the conversation? If the person sending the report violated the terms of agreement their whole report should be NULL. That way you can’t have bully’s report victims and get them perma banned. The whole ban system needs a rework. They aren’t showing why I got permanently suspended either when my other comms ban has the reason. Also, my other comms ban was for a typo, nice.

If you are saying they started it dont matter who starts it it's your violation is what they are concerned about thata it

Always focus on the suspension if it's a communication suspension then its communication

If it's a permanent suspension it wouldn't have been one thing

It would've been multiple

It's not abusing the system

It means the system works as intended

It doesn't take multiple reports but one valid report to get you suspended

And if ita permanent it wouldn't have.been one instance

In those situations it's beat to ignore and report

That all you are allowed to do

Retaliation otherwise will only end badly for you as it gives them something to report

Not all suspensions are immediate. Simple as that.

Some are caught with ai (such as curse words in a message as one example) but others are looked into by an actual person depending on the nature of the report and therefore aren't immediately given out.

What makes sense would be if who ever broke the user agreement first is no longer protected under that user agreement. So it wouldn’t matter what comes after because it’s causality and the afflicted party is protected. It should also be that no matter who reports it, the first person to violate the terms is the one to be banned from the instance. Boom, bully be gone. Also I bet you, the gamers that blocked me are still playing the game because, I was building a better team to fight them in a faction campaign and my guild mates still see them in the skirmishes. I know they said far worse to me in the chats than what I replied with. I was the better player in game and on comms. :,)

So if someone messaged you something that broke the rules and you respond back by breaking the rules too then you dont think you should be punished?

Even in school if someone is fighting and you fight back to defend yourself both students get in trouble regardless of who started it. At least thats how it worked at every school i ever attended. Same concept applies here.

The enforcement team looks if the rules are broken or not. If the rules were broken then you can be punished. Its as simple as that.

Again its best to just not respond at all in these situations. If you had refrained from responding then the other player would be the only one banned and not you.
