I was charged for mlb the show when it should have been free with my game pass

If you got an email that says you got declined for the refund request, the best option that I can recommend here is to reply to the email and make an appeal to your request. You will need to explain to them the reason why you want to get a refund and why you should be eligible for it.

You should be able to download it now just go to the Game pass section on your console to download the game

I requested a refund and it was denied. Saying because we played the game the day we bought it. Yes because I was under the impression we were getting a refund. I shouldn’t have been charged for the game. I can’t get anyone to respond or help me with this.
