I was booted offline by somebody

I was playing xbox live around ten minutes before this post when somebody by the gametag of
[Mod Removed] booted me offline for ten minutes, then when i was back online he sent me a message saying Next time i'll boot ofr for 60 or 120 minutees. can you guys do something because i know ill get banned for sending him a message talking
about it.

Kid on Xbox Live commiting a Federal Crime

[GT Removed] has been booting people offline on Xbox for no reason. He booted me while in a Party 2 Weeks ago Then booted me off again 10 Minutes ago. If somebody could do something about this kid I would be so Happy!

You'll need to file a complaint on him via the console and block communications with him. The enforcement team will investigate from there. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

You should also contact your ISP about the attack so they can help with your connection.

 

How is even possible for someone or something to boot you offline? I can see out of their game in a specific game, but completely offline?

Why would your ISP give a crap about you being booted offline from xbox live? How is that their problem?

 

It's called a Denial of Service attack. The person is booting you off your internet connection, not the Live service. It actually has nothing to do with Live. You can read more about it here -

You should call the Police.

He is frying your router by sending messages from a bot net which overloads the router.

This is against the law and can get him sent to prison.

He must have been using Cain and Abel and invited you to his party which gave him your I.P.
